April Fools Day!!!

Usually I don't play April Fool's jokes on anyone because I'm not clever enough to think of anything, but this year I decided to try one out. With my parents living closer to us, we decided to use them as our guinea pigs and since they were at the temple all day, it was perfect timing for us. Now, to many, this may not seem like a big deal, but to my mom it is her greatest fear!! Luckily, she was a good sport about it. Otherwise we would not have done it.

My mom has a fear of spiders. I'm not talking about a simple, little fear, she is deathly afraid of them. Freaking out, running around, screaming, the whole bit. So Spencer, Ashli & Ashli's best friend Courtney came up with the idea of printing off over 100 pages of spiders to hang around my parents house and I mean EVERYWHERE. They will probably be finding pictures for some time. We were hoping to be gone before they came home, but as we were getting ready to walk out the front door, who should but happen to be driving down the street?? Yep, my parents. We quickly ran back inside and snuck out the basement door but not before hearing my mom let out a blood curdling SCREAM as she walked in her mudroom. I haven't heard a scream like that in a long time. It was the greatest thing EVER!!! This got me in the mood to try more, so we are already trying to cook up a good joke for next year.
