School is finally out!!!!

Ashli's first official week out of school is coming to an end. This would have been a busy/fun week, except Spencer was sick for 3 days. I have no pictures to share this week, so I guess my words will have to do. Ashli started her summer piano lessons, had another orthodontist appt (she should be getting her braces in November) Spencer had pre-school and we had the youth over for Ice Cream after they went to the Temple. We were also supposed to have our ward swim party today, but it got cancelled due to the ongoing storm that we keep having. Hopefully they will have it re-scheduled for another time. I also had my 37th birthday and Erik and I actually went out and had a little fun without the kids. The day started out with me picking Erik up for work at noon. We went to lunch at Iggy's and then to the Gateway mall. We then went to the show "X-Men:Origins: Wolverine", which is a terrific movie. After that we went to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for a little treat. On our way home, we stopped off at Target and bought Wii Fit. This is something that I have been wanting for a while. We tried it out when we got home that night and it was a blast. Even Ashli and Spencer loved doing it. Some things give you more of a work out than others, but it was so much fun. Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes, cards, gifts, etc. I had a terrific birthday and look forward to many more.
