Rotating Tires!!!
Even though it's been a week, I have to vent a little bit. I had an experience at Sam's Club last week that I'm still a little peeved about, so I thought I would share it with everyone. I went in to Sam's Club to get our tires rotated (because that where we always take them.) We take them there because we have never had to pay to have them rotated because we thought if you had a Sam's membership then you don't have to pay. Well, I got to Sam's about 11 am, they said it would take about 1 1/2 hours to get it done because they had a couple of cars ahead of me and it takes about 45 minutes per car. That was fine, because I had a little bit of shopping to do (not an hour and half worth, but I could make it work.) After shopping and even sitting and watching WALL-E, I went to the tire department to pick up my car. They told me there was a problem. I guess your tires are only rotated for free if you buy the tires at Sam's Club, which we didn't. Then he proceeded to tell me that it was going to be so much money and that I would have to wait another 20 15 minutes while my tires were rotated. Ok, so my question is this: Why the heck didn't they page me over the PA system when they noticed that they weren't Sam's Club tires??? AND why did they say that it would take 45 minutes the first time and then they proceeded to change them in 15 minutes the second time?? I was so frustrated with them after that. I walked out and called Erik and started crying immediately because I was so dang mad at them, as was Erik. He wanted to call the manager right away, but I told him to wait until I was at least out of the store before he did. Erik did end up talking to a manager and I guess the policy has always been that you pay for your tires to get rotated unless you buy them at Sam's Club. We have take our cars there every time and not once have we been charged for it. The manager was supposed to go and talk with the tire department and then call Erik back, but we have yet to hear from him. I wasn't even mad at having to pay the money, because that was very little. What did make me mad was that I proceeded to waste my time walking around the store for 1 1/2 hours, when I had so many other things to do and the didn't even page me about the problem!!!! I hope you can understand everything I have said, I didn't realize that this post was going to be so long. So, now that I am done venting, I hope this post finds everyone doing well and ready for Christmas. Til next time!!

Cami,
That was great venting. I totally understand about how dumb some stores can be!!!!
I can relate, but we have had the same issue but with Sears. It has never been a problem with them doing it for free since we do buy our tires there, but it is the wait. All though I must say the time goes by faster at the mall since there is so much to look at then Sams. Good luck next time.
i have never heard that about free rotation with a membership. Even when we worked there we had to pay for it. But if you did get them done before without paying ROCK ON!
I could spend 1 1/2 hours there, but then again I don't get the chance to go very often.
