As Erik and I were discussing what we wanted to do this summer to have some fun, we thought it would be a nice challenge to try and visit as many parks/state parks as we possibly could, at least the ones that are fairly close to us. With our already full schedule, it may be hard to get many visits in, but we are going to give it a try. We started out a couple of weeks ago by going to Fernwood Park. I can't remember exactly where it is, but it's off of Hwy 89, somewhere near Fruit Heights/Kaysville (that's the best I can do). We brought a sack lunch, some items to play catch and we were even able to find a geo-cache. It was a little chilly for our first excursion, but we all had a great time being together as a family. Her
e are a few pictures of our outing. Enjoy!!!
