Ashli's braces!!

This last Tuesday, December 8th, Ashli finally got her braces on (after having 2 years of consultations). She added a little "bling bling" to them by having red & green rubber bands to go with the Christmas season. They hurt the first couple of days, but now she is starting to get used to them. She hasn't had the courage to eat hard things yet, so she has been living on Ramen noodles, applesauce, yougurt and pudding. If all goes well, she will have her braces on for 20 months, which means she will get them off in August 2011, right before ninth grade. She will then "graduate" to a retainer. Here are some 'before' and 'after' pictures. I may be a little biased, but I think she looks pretty cute.
