President's Day

Yesterday(Monday, Feb. 16th) was President's Day. Ashli didn't have school and Erik didn't have to work so we decided to take the opportunity to go and do something. We decided to go to Thanksgiving Point and try out the Museum of Ancient History (the dinosaur museum). The museum was very interesting and the kids really enjoyed it. I think Spencer may have been a little to young to understand a lot of it, but he enjoyed seeing the dinosaur, etc. After we walked through the museum (which took about an hour) we saw a 45 minute minute movie called "Wild Ocean 3D". It was an ok movie. Not as good as I thought it would be. After we left Thanksgiving Point, we went over to Cabella's, had lunch and looked for some camping equipment. Erik will be camping a lot this Spring and Summer and we just don't have enough stuff for camping. We didn't find anything there that we really liked, so we stopped at REI on the way home. We didn't buy anything, but we got a lot of really great ideas that we will be getting in the next few months. After we got home, we had dinner, FHE, and then just chilled the rest of the night. It was nice to have a day where we could spend it together doing something fun. I took a few pictures, so I hope you enjoy them.
